King City Cogeneration Plant

The King City Cogeneration Plant is a highly efficient natural gas-fired, combined-cycle cogeneration facility located in King City, California.  The plant consists of one combustion turbine, one heat recovery steam generator, one steam turbine and two auxiliary boilers.

Electricity generated by the King City Cogeneration Plant is sold to Pacific Gas and Electric Company.  In addition, the plant produces and sells thermal energy to a thermal host, Rava Business Park, under a long-term contract.
